Description
The sculpture consists of the idea of displaced sections suggesting stone slabs with surface composed of contour mapping details of the mountains together with text, rivers and pathways. At strategic points small-scale figures involved in different climbing activities are placed. The employment of different scales in the design aims to highlight the massive scale of the mountains and thereby create connections between people and place.
