Global Journeys

2006
Description
This artwork employed the idea of a globe to reflect the immediate and ever changing environment of mountains, sea and sky. It was important that people and children could interact with the artwork which the reflective surface provided. The surrounding bronze dial of swimming salmon created links to the idea of return journeys as displayed by the salmon returning to the Shimna River each year.
